In 1993 Willowridge Developments Ltd was formed by Allan and Elizabeth Dippie. Its first project was Meadowstone - a comprehensive residential development of nearly 400 sections on an extraordinary site in inner Wanaka. Originally this land was part of the Sargood's historic Wanaka Station property, farmed by the same family since the early 1900s.

Through Meadowstone, Willowridge introduced new standards of residential subdivision to Wanaka and thus was immediately successful with the first two stages sold out within days. Meadowstone has always been one of Wanaka's most desirable areas with both sections and homes throughout all stages continually sought after. Testimony to this is the number of Wanaka local residents who have purchased and moved to Meadowstone.
